Statement
Fife is a wonderful community to live, work and play. It is my goal to ensure that it stays that way. My background includes a number of years as a community organizer and volunteer. I believe each one of us has a stake in one another. In that spirit, I will work cooperatively to build consensus to make the decisions that affect us all.
I grew up in a Japanese- American family. My upbringing has had a profound effect on me. The core values of hard work, dedication, persistence through hard times and the belief that community comes first guides my everyday life. I was raised with these values. I will bring those qualities to the City Council.
While there have been abundant allies supporting youth and youth activities, for too long we have not had a representative from this demographic as an advocate. I will serve that role on this role on the council; a bridge between Fife’s history and its future.
