Harvest Festival Volunteers 2013

Want to be involved in Fife's largest event? Sign up to be a volunteer for the Fife Harvest Festival and have fun doing it. Pick the areas of most interest you would like to help with and state the times you are able to work. Volunteers must be age 14 or older.

Staff will schedule volunteers according to preference and when request was submitted. Volunteer training will happen on September 26th at 6 pm at the Fife Community Center. If you have additional questions, please call the Fife Harvest Festival phone number at (253) 896-8688.

Available Stations

Hay Pile

Kids get the opportunity to search for treasures in the hay pile.  Help restock the hay pile when needed and manage the numbers of kids in the hay pile at one time.

Hay Maze

Watch over and help people through the hay maze.

Scarecrow stuffing

Direct people on how to stuff a scarecrow and help people when needed. Keep area tidy.

Train Tours

Help people on and off the locomotive engine at Dacca Park.

Squash Bowling

Supervise kids as they bowl and knock down Butternut Squash.

Hoppin' Horses

People can ride inflatable horses and race against others or just have fun trying it out. Monitor the event for safety and ensure appropriate ages are participating in the activity.

Food booths - FOOD HANDLERS PERMIT REQUIRED

Help man booths handing out free snow cones and cotton candy to participants.

Cowboy/girl dress up

Help kids have fun dressing up like cowboys/girls and take pictures if needed. Help keep area tidy.

Hay Ride

Help people on and off the hay ride.
