Monday Lunch
2nd Monday lunch is back. Provided by the chefs at Mill Ridge Retirement Community, a nutritious and delicious lunch will be made for us once a month. Come and join.

Fife Lunch
Nutritionally balanced meals provided by Catholic Community Services are served on Wednesdays, and Fridays. Meal reservations are appreciated one week in advance. You can call (253) 922-8368 or (253) 474-1200.

Tai Chi (FREE!)
Wake up your body & mind with morning Tai Chi.

Dominos, Cribbage & Board Games
Come play the fun and addictive domino game called Mexican Train. New to the game? Someone will teach you how to play!

Painters (Free!)
Interested in painting? Want to learn more about the amazing art? If you have any questions our group will be glad to answer, suggest or help with your techniques. Please provide your own supplies. *Bring some snacks or a lunch*.

Bridge
Join us for a fun afternoon playing bridge. We welcome all bridge players; new and experienced, ready to have fun and play the game.

Our devoted pinochle group plays every Friday. Refreshments are provided.

Birthday Celebrations
Join us as we celebrate monthly birthdays at the Fife Community Center. We will have a special treat on the last Friday of each month to help celebrate the special day with our friends!

Services for 55+ Adults

Silver Sneakers Healthways Membership
The Fife Community Center and Fife Aquatic Center are a Silver Sneakers site. This program gives adults 65+ on Medicare with the following supplemental health plans: AARP Medicare Complete by United Healthcare, Asuris NW Health, Group Health, Health Alliance Medicare, Humana, Premera Blue Cross, Providence Health Plan, Regence Blue Shield of Washington and Soundpath Health, access to the following classes at the Community Center for no cost.

Silver Sneakers Classic
Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and Silver Sneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.
Days: Monthly- Tuesday and Thursday

Cost: $25 Resident/session, $30 Non-Resident/session

Questions about MEDICARE?
SHIBA, (Statewide Health Insurance Benefit Advisors), is a free and unbiased Medicare counseling service provided by the WA State Office of Insurance Commissioner. SHIBA volunteer counselors can help you navigate the Medicare system, make informed decisions, know your rights and assist you in spotting fraud attempts. Monthly, in person, SHIBA counseling is available at the Fife Community Center! Join SHIBA counselor, Jayne on the 3rd Wednesday monthly! Jayne will give a short Medicare educational talk @ 11:00 a.m. and then will be available for one on one assistance from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Come ready with your Medicare questions. For over th ephone assistance at any other time, call the SHIBA helpline @ 253-596-0918.

AAA Driver Improvement Course
American Driving Services is offering its refresher course on defensive driving skills. The course gives practical guidance for traffic accident prevention and enhances driver safety and confidence. Successful course completion qualifies drivers 55 years of age and over for automobile insurance premium discounts. However, all ages are welcome to attend. Check with your insurance agent for the amount and duration of the discount.
To register for the class, send checks only ($18.00 per person), payable to American Driving Services, P.O. Box 66681, Seattle, WA  98166-0681. Your fee is non-refundable, but is transferable to another class at any of our locations. Call us at (206) 243-3564.

Meet at Fife Community Center for trips.

Ride the Ducks!
Stretching nearly 20 miles from historical Pioneer Square to quirky Fremont, you’ll see all the sights of Seattle, plus a lot more on your 90-minute land and water Duck Tour! Fall in love with Seattle on this fun-filled, wacky, quack-y continuous tour, packed with local folklore, historical information, jokes and music! Your Tour Guide will keep you dancin’ in your seat, laughin’ till your stomach hurts and surprising your friends with long shot trivia bits at the drop of a hat! Sack lunch will be provided.

White River Valley Museum
Film Screening: Reel Injun
Cree filmmaker Neil Diamond takes a look at the Hollywood Indian, exploring the portrayal of North American Natives through a century of cinema. We will have plenty of time to tour the museum before and after the screening and go to a nice lunch before we spend our Sunday at the museum!

Holiday Gift & Food Fair in Bremerton
Need to get some Christmas shopping done and want to find something with a personal touch? Let’s head to Bremerton, WA for the annual Holiday Gift and Food Fair! It will be located in the 36,000 square-foot “Kitsap Sun Pavilion” at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds. With space for 180+ booths, the Holiday Gift and Food Fair will once again be the largest indoor Holiday shopping extravaganza on the Peninsula.
