Adult Learn to Swim Classes: Register Here

The Fife Aquatic Center offers adult swim lessons through our innovative, learn-at-your-own-pace Learn-to-Swim program. Developed for adults, our program gives adult swimmers at every level the opportunity to improve their skills in a safe environment – and under the guidance of a trained instructor.
Each class is limited to four adults per instructor.

The LAFF Group (Senior Exercise)

If you’re looking for a low impact workout that includes plenty of stretching come join our “LAFF” Low Aquatic Fitness and Fun group. Aquatic Center memberships are available as well as drop ins. All ages are welcome!
Days: Mon/Wed/Fri
Times: 9-10 a.m. and 10-11 a.m.

Learn to Paddle Board: Register Here

A great launching point for the aspiring paddle boarder, Fife Aquatic Center’s Learn-to-Paddle Board Class will prepare participants to confidently explore our region’s flat and swift waterways. Participants will learn comprehensive safety and basic paddle stroke techniques while enjoying the company and encouragement of other novice course mates in a safe, warm and controlled environment.

Come enjoy the ancient practice of yoga combined with Stand Up Paddle Boarding! These classes take your favorite yoga routines and put them on the water!

Registration for each session closes one week prior to the start of the session. If any spots remain, single class spots will open up. Single class users MUST register in advance to guarantee a spot in the class.

Aquatic Facility Operator Class – Register Here

This Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) certification course is the most advanced training program in the industry. This comprehensive, two-day course provides an in-depth instruction on all facets of aquatic facility operation and management, including:

  • Pool safety
  • Risk management
  • Facility trouble shooting
  • Hot tub & spa operation

Fife Area Swim Team (FAST):

FAST welcomes intermediate to advanced leveled swimmers. Swimmers develop valuable, lifelong skills in teamwork, self-discipline, time management and traits that will help them in their paths to success. Our coaches work hard at improving and encouraging top-level swimming technique and provide an environment that fosters healthy competition. Please visit the FAST website for more information.

Private Lessons – Register Here

Private lessons are the most effective way to help develop water safety skills, work on specific stroke technique and develop overall endurance. Swimmers are paired with an experienced, knowledgeable and caring instructor. Each session is 30 minutes in duration and is designed for children as young as 3 years all the way up through adulthood, proving it is never too late to learn to swim! Our one-on-one instruction gives you the most personalized lessons available, allowing our instructors to focus on specific aspects of your swimming strengths and/or weaknesses. Pre-Competitive Private Lessons – Register Here

Pre-Competitive Private Lessons provide an introduction to competitive swimming for kids who are interested in developing their endurance and technique to join our competitive USA swim team, FAST. Swimmers who register for the Pre-Competitive Private Lessons MUST have passed at least level 6 in our learn-to-swim program with the goal of joining the year-round swim team. Coach Justin will conduct all private lessons for swimmers who register.

Mini Meet
Short Race Swim Meet – Register Here

What is a Mini Meet? A quarterly event for kids to test out the life of a competitive swimmer. 

What do we do? Swimmers will be entered in to a few short races (width of the pool) based on the level they have passed in our swim lesson program. Balloons will adorn the lane lines and prizes are awarded to each heat winner!

Who is invited? Any swimmer who has passed Youth level 4 or above in our swim lesson program and was registered in any of our Spring Session classes.

Lifeguard Classes – Register Here

Participants must be at least 15 years of age and able to pass a prerequisite swim skills test. Attendance is mandatory, no make-ups offered. Must pass all written exams with a minimum score of 80% and demonstrate competency in all skills tests.
